Each year the United States government will issue up to 55k green cards via the Green Card Lottery program. The green cards allow immigrants to enter into the United States to live and work in the states.

The selected applicants are chosen randomly via a computer that generates drawings. If the candidate selected wins then the entrant, his spouse and any children under 21-years of age who are not married may receive the chance to live permanently in the U.S.A.

The Green Card Lottery is an official program set up by the United States government and has been approved by Congress. The card was designed to give immigrants the opportunity to live and work in the states. Each year up to 50,000, qualify to win the Green Card.

In order to enter to win you must register online. If you are married, your chances of winning double. If you win the Green Card then your family and you will be flown to the states free of charge by USAGCLS.

You must apply online for the Green Card. There are no exceptions. Before you apply check to see if you qualify, you must pay an administrative fee upfront when you enter, in which you will be giving a password and number after to your online account.

Each time you log into your account to make changes, you will need your password and number. Any co-applicants or applicants must supply a photo of you or the co-applicant. You must also submit your Diversity Visa application. Once you have taking the steps to enter then you will be sent a notification if you are eligible or win. About the American Green Card Lottery Program

After you submit, your application to apply for the American Green Card Lottery you can live in the United States permanently as long as you have your green card. You can start a job and continue working or start your own business.

You are obligated to pay taxes on all income that you earn whether it is in the United States or outside of the states. Taxes are reported each year between January and April. You can leave and return to the United States anytime you like as long as you have your green card, however you must live most of the time within the United States of America and have a degree of ties between you and other U.S. parties.

You will need special permission to leave the United States for two-years and then request reentry to the United States when you return. After you have lived in the United States for five years, you can then apply for Citizenship. You must complete the requisite residency cycle first however.

Once you have your citizenship, you may vote, request a Passport, etc. You must have established that you are a permanent resident of the United States first.

If you have not entered into the Green Card Lottery program, then you must do so now. Certain people will have the opportunity to win the Green Card. Go online today to find out if you meet those requirements as outlined by the United States Government officials. You can only apply for a green card on the Internet.

When you register online, you will need to provide some information including your name, email address, country of birth, country you live in now, school information, etc. You will also need to provide information about your marriage status. If you are married your chances of winning doubles; any children you have under the age of 21 may enter into the states if you win as long as your children are not married. (more…)
